I’ve come from humble beginnings, and now travel the world. I feel incredibly blessed. If I can do it, then I know other women like me can too. Here is my story.

My Story

My name is Ulyana Aster. I am currently an international bridal stylist travelling the World doing what I love. But my heart lies in helping others acheive success. I have come from very humble begginings, to now travelling the world celebrating love in some of the most beautiful locations around the World.

For the past 15 years I have built a brand that is global. I've been privilaged to be apart of thousands of students' journeys to a creative, thriving and passionate career. I am passionate about helping anyone see success and earn a life of freedom, one that all women deserve.

That is why, this program is so important to me. As you get to know me and where I come from, you will see that I have worked hard to get to where I am today. I believe anyone can achieve the level of success I am priviledge to have today. That's why this program is different from the rest, I am still working as a bridal stylist, and everything that is working for me will be developed into new resources, templates, and courses to help you succeed.

My beginnings

My story begins in a tiny village in Russia, on a small island that used to belong to Japan. I grew up in a place where half the population was Korean and the other half were Russian and Ukrainian, a unique mix of cultures that shaped me from the very beginning. Living so far from Europe, in such a remote and beautiful place, played a huge part in who I am today. It taught me simplicity and resilience. I spent most of my childhood surrounded by nature and the gentle encouragement of my Ukrainian grandparents.

We didn’t have much, my family owned a small farm with chickens and we grew our own produce. Some of my best childhood memories are waking up in the morning and running outside to play with the village kids all day. We would go swimming in the rivers, fishing, picking berries in the forest… and then ending the night listening to my grandad’s stories by candlelight. I also loved winter, the snow was so deep and magical. It’s something I really miss now, living in Australia.

My grand parents were the first people who taught me to see beauty in everything, to draw, to create, and to dream beyond the little world I lived in. From as early as I can remember, I knew I was meant to create beauty and make people feel special.

Moving to Australia from Russia

After finishing university, I followed a spark inside me and booked a one-way ticket to Australia to learn English. I was a young girl with big dreams, no money, and zero English, flying to Brisbane all alone.

Once I landed in Australia, everything felt new and exciting. The people, the nature, the way of life… I instantly fell in love. My first year in Australia flew by in the blink of an eye, and I knew this was my new home.

While learning English and studying, I worked as a waitress and babysitter, saving every dollar I could so I could enrol in hairdressing school. This was my dream, and the beginning of my journey into helping others.

A STYLISTS FIRST STEPS

After my first baby, Ash was born, my hairstyling journey began in my small bathroom. I bought a mannequin and started creating my own signature boho styles with ever spare second I had, usually while my baby slept.

I began posting the hairstyles on Instagram with no expectations, just passion. Almost overnight after posting a few videos and photos of my styles, my work was shared by beauty bloggers. Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube, my styles began circulating everywhere.

From 0 followers on Instagram I gained 100k in two weeks alone. It didn’t feel real. It brought not only followers, but bookings, opportunities, and most importantly, the incredible feeling of being seen.

My very first wedding job came through Facebook Marketplace.
4 bridesmaids.
A full day of work.
I only earned $100, I was so unbelievably happy.

Today I charge thousands for a single wedding, but my journey started on Facebook marketplace at $50. So I know anyone can get to where I am today.

practice makes perfect

As I continued practicing and perfecting my techniques, more people began asking me to teach.

I started with one small class… and it quickly grew into international masterclasses around the world. I travelled, met incredible people, and lived experiences I never imagined as a little girl from a small village.

For those who couldn’t attend my classes, I created my online school, which has now taught thousands of students globally. Reading messages from my students touched my heart and fuelled my fire to give back, my passion and focus was now on educating. It felt amazing giving a platform for women to feel empowered, independent, confident and with a path to financial security.

Consistency leads to more opportunities.

Four years later, I had my second child, Scarlet. Again, I never stopped.

During those years, I opened a bridal shop, designed my own gowns, and worked day and night with designers to bring my visions to life. At the same time, I created my own Australian organic hair oils, which eventually sold worldwide, including in major retailers like Urban Outfitters.

It was crazy to think it all started from my bathroom and a mannequin wearing a dress made with a pink rubbish bag. A simple video that went viral and turned into a global business. Only because I never stopped showing up.

showing up is what counts

Even with my kids, no help, and sleepless nights, I kept creating tutorials for my followers. My social media platforms grew, became monetised, and gave me the freedom to earn from home while working on my own schedule.

My school wasn’t just about the hair. It’s about helping stylists build real income through social media, digital products, and passive income, so they weren’t relying only on wedding bookings. Ever since I started creating content for my social media, I’ve never left the wedding world.

Travelling to beautiful places… receiving enquiries from international brides… sometimes it still feels unreal. Meeting brides, being a part of their day, creating those unforgettable moments, it has never felt like “work.” And the truth is, none of this happened by accident. It’s because I built a brand.

I don’t just post my work, I show up, I share my story, and I connect. I try to be the face of my brand, not just a stylist behind the scenes. This is exactly what I teach and encourage my students to do: to build a brand people trust, love, book, and buy from.

My Mission

My mission today is bigger than hair.

I want to teach girls and women like me, girls who started with nothing, that they too can build a life they love, follow their passion and make an income along the way. After many years, and now with my third baby, I’ve decided to rebrand my online school to make it even more powerful.

Social media changes, trends shift, but sharing my experience, my lessons, and my journey will always stay the same. I am going to be a hairstylist for the rest of my life, and I will never stop sharing what I learn. The trending styles, the latest tricks on socials, the do's and the do not's. I will always lend a helping hand to those who seek it. So that one day I can help that young girl in all of us, that dreams of a career in beauty, that they can acheive anything!

I’m proud of everything I’ve built. But most of all, I’m proud every time a student sends me a message about how their life has changed because of something I have posted, shared or created. That is what motivates me every single day, to keep creating, keep teaching, and keep showing what’s possible.
