Certificate Requirements

To successfully complete this lesson and qualify for your certificate:

• Before starting this lesson, make sure you have watched the ponytail tutorials, as these techniques form the foundation for creating balanced and secure bun styles.
• Practice each classic bun style on a mannequin several times until you feel confident and comfortable with the technique.
• Once mastered, move on to practicing the styles on real models.
• Try to work with models who have different hair lengths, textures, and densities to understand how each bun behaves in real situations.
• Prepare the hair in different ways—such as curls, waves, and smooth styling—and recreate the same bun styles to observe the visual and structural differences between each hair texture.
• Combine bun styles with different fringe styles, and experiment by mixing and matching techniques to begin creating your own unique looks.
• Repeat each style multiple times to improve balance, symmetry, and long-lasting hold.
• Submit clear photos or videos of each completed bun style as proof of practice.
