Hairspray
One of the most important products in your kit. A workable hairspray helps control the hair while you style, adds light grip and keeps sections in place. A stronger finishing spray can be used at the end for longer lasting hold.

Texture Spray
Adds grip, movement and texture without making the hair look too stiff. It is especially useful for soft bridal styles, waves, ponytails and textured buns.

Texture Powder
Perfect for creating grip and volume at the roots. A small amount can make fine or slippery hair much easier to work with. Remember, a little goes a long way.

Mousse
Great for adding body and structure during your initial hair preparation. It can help fine or soft hair feel fuller and give you a stronger foundation for styling.

Dry Shampoo
Not only for oily hair. Dry shampoo can absorb excess oil and add a little extra texture and grip, especially around the roots.

Smoothing or Shine Products
Use these carefully and usually towards the end of styling. Too much oil, serum or shine spray can make the hair slippery and difficult to control.

Ulyana’s Tip: Do not overload the hair with products just because you have them in your kit. Start with a small amount and build when needed. With experience, you will learn to look at the hair, feel its texture and know exactly what product it needs. The goal is not to make the hair feel full of product. The goal is to make the hair easier to control, easier to shape and strong enough to last throughout the wedding day.
